Terms of Use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use govern your use of fashionfoundersacademy.com and your participation in programs offered by Fashion Founders Academy, the public brand of Lauren Reid LLC ("Fashion Founders Academy," "we," "us"). By using this site, registering for a program, joining a waitlist, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

Our programs are intended for adults building or planning businesses. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review these terms and complete any purchase on your behalf where the law requires it.

Educational nature of our programs

Fashion Founders Academy provides educational and informational content, including live sessions, courses, frameworks, templates, and assessments. We do not guarantee any business, financial, sales, sourcing, manufacturing, career, or other outcome. Results depend on your own decisions, effort, and circumstances.

You are responsible for your own business decisions. Our content is not legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and you should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

Payments, pricing, and taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change for future offerings. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout where required. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us in full.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

Lifetime access

Where a program is described as including "lifetime access," such as the LaunchPad self-paced course, lifetime access refers to the lifetime of that program as an active Fashion Founders Academy product, for as long as it remains offered and supported by us. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser, the founder, or the company.

We may update, replace, migrate, or discontinue a course or the platform used to deliver it. If LaunchPad is permanently discontinued, we will provide reasonable advance notice when practicable. Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights you have that cannot legally be waived.

Intellectual property

Course videos, frameworks, templates, worksheets, downloads, recordings, branding, and site content are owned by or licensed to Lauren Reid LLC / Fashion Founders Academy. Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own personal and internal business use.

You may not copy, resell, redistribute, share your login or access, publicly post, teach, repackage, or commercially exploit our materials without our prior written permission. You may use purchased templates and resources within your own business, but you may not resell or distribute the templates themselves.

Live session conduct

Live programs are professional learning environments. We may remove any participant who is disruptive, abusive, or harassing. Refund treatment in those cases is subject to applicable law and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Accounts and access

If we provide you with an account or access credentials, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@fashionfoundersacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Third-party services

We rely on third-party service providers, including payment processors, hosting, database, and email providers, to operate the site and deliver programs. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites or services linked from our site.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the site and our programs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lauren Reid LLC and Fashion Founders Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the site or participation in our programs. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the program giving rise to the claim, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lauren Reid LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site or materials, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to a program or the site for material breach of these terms, fraud, unauthorized sharing of access or materials, or misuse, subject to applicable law.

Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page with a revised date. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site and our programs.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the place where you live.
